Handsome Justus is a four year-old pit mix with a real love for life. He had a rough start in life, and was found on a chain with no fur, and no use of his back legs due to a spine injury caused by blunt force trauma. A true warrior, Justus has successfully completed physical therapy for a spine injury and is now ready to show the world what he is made of and finally feel the touch of a loving hand! Sweet Justus simply adores every single person he meets, so much that he would love to be the only dog in his new home and have the undivided attention he so deserves. If you’re ready to give this boy unconditional love and show him all the luxuries life has to offer, apply to meet him today! If you are interested in adopting Justus fill out an application here.
Meet Brady, an 18 month old Mastiff and American Staffordshire Terrier mix so handsome that he’s bound to turn heads wherever he goes. He is a big, 120lb boy with a big heart and even bigger personality. He’s a total goofball who loves to bound through the yard, play tug, and see how far he can flip his toys up in the air. He is very friendly with people, however due to his size and boisterous, bouncy nature, we feel it is best he does not live in a home with small children or cats. Don’t let his stunning looks deceive you – Brady has beauty AND brains! He has spent some time with our trainer in NJ, and he is very eager to show you everything he has learned so far. If you would like to meet this fun-loving, hunky boy and make him the newest member of your family, apply here today! If you think you can give Brady the home he deserves please fill out an application.
Cloud, born in March 2017, is a Boxer mix who comes into rescue from North Carolina – found in a kill shelter, emaciated and suffering from a life of neglect. She is a beautiful little petite pixie – 40 pounds of dynamite: a big personality in a small package! She’s a total love bug and very affectionate with her people. She’s house trained, crate trained, has great leash manners and knows basic commands. Extremely smart, Cloud learns quickly and is eager to please. A high- energy girl, she requires daily exercise and stimulation. A fenced-in yard is a must. She does well with large dominant males who offer correction and leadership. She’s not a fan of cats or small dogs. Cloud has a prey drive and can be dog reactive. She must have a strong and confident leader. She is an absolute JOY, but not for a first pet or novice handler. She requires patience and direction. Her home must be exceptional because she is an exceptional dog! She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. If you would like to be the lucky one who gets to give Cloud her happy ever after, please fill out an adoption application here.
Shelly, a beautiful Pittie, was rescued from Manhattan ACC where she had been brought in as a stray. Our veterinary partner estimates that Shelly was born in 2015. She had broken teeth and was emaciated at only 24 pounds!! Her foster mom has been taking such good care of her and she now is healthy and happy! Despite her obvious neglect, Shelly remains a very sweet and loving girl, and we can’t wait until she has a home to call her very own. Shelly is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, housebroken, crate trained and knows basic commands. This girl is super smart and would do well with an active family willing to take the time and make sure she gets enough of her favorite activity. . . chasing tennis balls! Shelly is great with kids and people of all ages. She does not do well with cats, and a meet and greet is required if there are other dogs in the home. Please apply online here if you are interested in adopting Shelly.
